Tron surpasses 400 million accounts
Tron surpassed 400 million total accounts, according to TRON DAO, with cumulative transfer volume on the network approaching $30 trillion since it launched in 2018. The network took four years to reach its first 100 million accounts, roughly 17 months to reach its second, and under three years to add its third, an accelerating growth curve.
Much of that activity is stablecoin settlement rather than general-purpose application use: Tron carries a large share of global USDT circulation, and its low fees and fast finality have made it a default rail for stablecoin issuers and payment processors operating at volume, even as it draws comparatively little attention from application developers.
An account count measures addresses, not people, and many are dormant or duplicated across exchanges and wallets — the transfer volume behind them is the harder number to inflate.
