Paradromics and Siemens plan imaging tools for BCI implantation

Paradromics and Siemens Healthineers announced an imaging collaboration on October 19. The companies plan a multimodal workflow spanning patient assessment, neural-target identification, surgical planning, implant localization and longer-term outcomes.

That infrastructure matters because a high-channel-count interface still has to be placed where it can record useful signals safely. Structural and functional imaging answer different parts of that problem.

The announcement describes a development initiative. It does not establish improved patient outcomes or change the investigational status of Paradromics' Connexus interface. Those claims require separate clinical and regulatory evidence.
