Bitcoin and ether ETFs post best week since October
Bitcoin traded near $79,107, up from an opening price of $77,727.62, while ether rose to $2,507.22 from an opening level of $2,463.09. The moves extended a rally that took bitcoin up 23.6 percent over the previous week, from around $62,000 to as high as $79,500, and ether up 31.3 percent, from below $1,900 to above $2,520.
US spot bitcoin ETFs drew $1.92 billion in net inflows over the week, the strongest total since October 2025, led by BlackRock's IBIT with $1.33 billion across five consecutive trading days. Spot ether ETFs added a further roughly $700 million, taking combined bitcoin and ether ETF inflows to $2.62 billion for the week, also their strongest since October 2025.
Bitcoin's weekly gain was its second-best since February 2021, behind only its rally following the Silicon Valley Bank crisis in March 2023.
The rebound in inflows has not been enough to offset the $2.91 billion in net outflows US bitcoin ETFs still show for the year to date.
