TRON says post-quantum signatures are running on testnet
TRON founder Justin Sun said quantum-resistant cryptography was operating in the network's test environment and could be considered for mainnet. The statement followed an earlier rollout target that had not been met.
Testnet implementation is not equivalent to production security. Larger post-quantum signatures can materially affect throughput, and a mainnet change would still need careful auditing, ecosystem coordination and governance approval.
