NVIDIA brings company-data tooling into its agent stack

NVIDIA's expanded Agent Toolkit combines its Agent Knowledge Foundation, retrieval and structured-data models, OpenShell runtime and NemoClaw reference designs. The October 21 announcement emphasizes connecting agents to business information without discarding existing governance controls.

The Knowledge Foundation includes tools for mapping raw data into concepts such as customers, products and orders. That is a practical prerequisite for answering a business question: a model needs to know what the records mean, not just find text that resembles the question.

The runtime governs access and actions. Better data connections and tighter execution boundaries solve different problems, and both affect whether an agent can be trusted with real work.
