Salesforce introduces Koa for CRM reasoning

Salesforce introduced Koa, its first reasoning model built specifically for customer relationship management. Based on NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super, the model is designed to support Agentforce workflows that require several connected steps, including updating sales opportunities and routing service cases.

Salesforce says it trained Koa on synthetic scenarios informed by 27 years of enterprise experience, without using customer data for training. The company controls the model's weights, further training and inference within its own infrastructure, allowing it to tailor behaviour to its applications and tools.

Selected customers are piloting Koa, with general availability planned in the United States during winter 2026. The announcement establishes a limited customer rollout; wider access and performance across production environments remain to be demonstrated beyond the initial pilots.
