Symbiosis reports a partial Bitcoin recovery
Symbiosis said it had recovered approximately 15 BTC following the previous day's Bitcoin Bridge exploit. In a Saturday update, the team said the recovered funds had been moved into a multisignature wallet.
The native Bitcoin route remained suspended. Symbiosis said its other routes, including EVM networks, TRON and TON, and its Octopools were unaffected. The final loss was still being calculated, so the recovery figure was not a complete account of the incident.
The team offered the attacker a 20 percent bounty for returning funds, with the offer running until September 13. It also described a subsequent reward for information that helped recover assets if that deadline passed.
The update established progress on recovery. Restoring the route and determining what affected users were owed remained separate pieces of work.
