XRPL activates its transaction maintenance amendment

The XRP Ledger activated fixCleanup3_3_0 on Friday at 11:29 UTC. Independent checks of ledger records identified the activation in ledger 106,911,489 and confirmed the amendment in the validated state afterwards.

The package addresses transaction edge cases, including automated market makers and Checks. Some corrections relate to the infrastructure for vaults and lending, but enabling this amendment does not enable those separate features.

SingleAssetVault and LendingProtocol remained disabled in the checked mainnet state. That distinction matters when a maintenance release is presented as the arrival of an entirely new financial service.

The change is a useful example of how XRPL upgrades become real: validator support starts a waiting period, then an activation recorded on the ledger changes the rules. A projected date alone is not confirmation that the network has switched.
