Ripple and Coinbase expand RLUSD distribution

Ripple and Coinbase announced an RLUSD partnership on October 28. Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Exchange and the retail app are adding trading and management of the dollar stablecoin, with deposit and withdrawal support across XRP Ledger, Base and Ethereum.

The companies also describe one-to-one conversion with dollars and supported dollar stablecoins. Support for Coinbase Global Exchange, including collateral use, is described as a later step rather than part of the initial availability.

The development expands distribution and the routes users can take between networks. It does not make every Coinbase product, country or account eligible for every announced function at the same time.
