Tether joins Tenstorrent's funding round

Tether Capital announced participation in Tenstorrent's Series E on October 20. The $1.5 billion round supports a company developing processors, systems and software for AI workloads.

Tether frames the investment around access to open computing infrastructure and greater control over how AI runs. It is another example of the company's investment activity extending beyond stablecoin issuance.

The size of the overall round is not the size of Tether's individual contribution. An equity investment also should not be confused with a change to USDT's reserve composition; those are separate claims that require their own disclosures.
