Neurable launches EEG headphones for continuous brain tracking

Neurable launched Neurable One, its first EEG headphones designed and built in-house. The $499 noise-cancelling headphones place 12 dry EEG sensors inside the ear cushions, allowing the system to record electrical brain activity while they are worn like ordinary headphones.

The companion app turns those signals into measures including focus, cognitive load, cognitive speed, wakefulness and resting rhythms. Neurable also stores recordings over time so users can compare sessions and longer-term trends. Audio lasts up to 22 hours, or about 12 hours with EEG active.

Neurable describes One as a consumer wellness product rather than a medical device. The useful change is therefore the form factor: EEG moves from a deliberate measurement session into something a user can wear for hours, while the meaning of the derived metrics still depends on the company's signal processing and validation.
