ZetaChain voters approve migration plan to Solana

ZetaChain token holders approved Proposal 68, backing a plan to retire the project's Layer 1 network and move ZETA to Solana. The vote passed with 99.4 percent support and 58 percent participation, exceeding the 40 percent quorum.

The proposed conversion would create a native Solana SPL token at a one-for-one rate, preserving the ticker, total supply and vesting schedules. ZETA held on Ethereum and BNB Chain is excluded from the proposal's migration scope. The team plans to concentrate on Anuma, its private AI application.

ZetaChain remains operational, with staking continuing. A further proposal must specify the balance snapshot, shutdown block and claim procedures, after exchanges confirm their arrangements. The vote therefore establishes a direction for the project without immediately shutting down the chain or completing the token conversion.
