Adaptive Quantum Circuits meeting focuses on real-time feedback

The Adaptive Quantum Circuits conference runs October 26–28 in Chicago. Its scope includes mid-circuit measurement, conditional operations, dynamic calibration, decoding and hybrid quantum-classical systems.

These capabilities let a quantum program change its next step based on an intermediate measurement. That is central to many error-correction and control protocols, where waiting until the end of an experiment would be too late.

The engineering difficulty is timing the complete loop: measurement, classical processing and the next physical action. A conference program points to the work being discussed, while the performance of any particular implementation needs its own hardware measurements.
